Ecovizija

If the house heating cost 10 times less where would you spend the money saved? What extra things would your family afford? After all, several thousand litas per year would be saved…, and this is an excellent holiday in warm countries… that would be great, right?

We have already thought about that. We established a Public Organization Ecovizija and created a social initiative “Energy Efficient Houses”. Objective of the organization:

• To seek to increase energy efficiency of houses;
• To promote the use of all renewable energy resources in all types of buildings;
• To educate the society on responsible and rational use of energy.

Measures for implementation of the objective:

• We consult residents and businessmen for free on different energy saving topics: house renovation, construction of passive and energy efficient buildings, renewable energy sources and possibilities of their utilization;
• We analyze measures and evaluate the payback period of investments in the area of energy efficiency for manufacturing companies, blocks of flats, office buildings, shops and residents of private houses;
• We provide consulting on reception of subsidies for implementation of alternative energy measures;
• We gathered a group of partners with which we started the construction of the first
• block of passive buildings in the Western Lithuania (the block of Žalieji Leliai in Klaipėda District).
• We constantly retrain in the areas of utilization of renewable energy resources and energy efficient building technologies.
