The price of 1m3 of gas supplied in Lithuania increases all year round and since 1 July the prices have changed more than during the whole year of 2010 – they changed even 20% (from LTL 1.45 to LTL 1.75).

ECOvizija suggests a solution for direct increase of gas prices. It proposes to construct only passive houses now: their economic effect only increases with each increase in price of energy sources.

In order to respond to the increasing demand, Public Organization Ecovizija is already constructing a block “Žalieji Leliai”. The heating here will cost only LTL 997 per year for residents in a Class A++ house of 140 sq m and it will cost LTL 5,001.50 per year in a Class C house of 140 sq m.
