The price of 1m3 of gas supplied in Lithuania increases all year round and since 1 July the prices have changed more than during the whole year of 2010 – they changed even 20% (from LTL 1.45 to LTL 1.75).

ECOvizija suggests a solution for direct increase of gas prices. It proposes to construct only passive houses now: their economic effect only increases with each increase in price of energy sources.

Construction Diary: 02/11/2011

The first passive houses are already rising in the settlement of Žalieji Leliai. The foundation has been built and insulated, the inlet of communications has been prepared, and concrete pouring has been carried out. At the moment masonry works are carried out using Aeroc blocks in passive houses. The thickness of walls will reach even 50 cm and insulation with polystyrene will reach 25 cm.
